Our client, a leading Foundation (not-for-profit) based in Akwa Ibom state with a focus on the education sector is looking to hire a Program Coordinator for a full-time role located in the State. APPLY.HERE
The successful candidate will be the liaison between the Foundation and a main sponsor seeking to execute additional programs such as an Environmental Awareness, School Quiz competition, and University Undergraduate scholarship.
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Interfacing with the Foundation in planning, organizing, and implementing ALL programs to the satisfaction of the sponsor.
- Preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and reports for these programs.
- Ensuring timely preparation and submission of relevant reports of these programs for use by the Foundation, Sponsor, and government agencies.
- Maintaining contact with all education stakeholders (teachers, school administration, students, vendors, etc.) to ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Establishing and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, within and outside the education ecosystem, in furthering the objectives of these programs
- Promoting a positive image for the Sponsor and Foundation.
Skills & Experience
- Teaching or work experience in the education ecosystem.
- Good working knowledge of the Nigerian public education department.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to use computer and social media tools.
- Good team player
- Ability to work unsupervised and with own initiative to solve problems.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and teachers.
- Resourcefulness
- Proven leadership skills
